Junior Quantity Surveyor
Gavin is a qualified Quantity Surveyor, holding a Level 8 Bachelor’s degree from South East Technological University. He currently works as a Lift Surveyor, supporting project delivery through cost control, measurement, and coordination across active sites.
Bruna Lamorea Veiga Lopes
Planning Engineer
Bruna is a Planning Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the construction sector and its technologies. She holds degrees in Architecture, Urban Planning and Civil Engineering, along with a PhD in Urban Engineering. She has joined BHA to support project planning, coordination and delivery across our teams.
Pat Whelan
Procurement Manager
Pat brings over 25 years of experience in purchasing within the construction industry. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he works closely with our purchasing team to support procurement and supplier management across the business.
Tommy Smith
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Tommy has been with BHA since September 2023 and has over 20 years experience in the industry. During his time with BHA, Tommy has proven to be a valuable asset to the team with his vast knowledge and expertise in the industry. BHA is lucky to have such a talented and experienced professional as part of their team.
Samantha Ryan
Procurement
Samantha is responsible for all purchasing across BHA, managing procurement, supplier coordination, and material sourcing to support the successful delivery of projects.
Eilish O Connor
Accountant
Eilish recently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland. She has now joined BHA and works alongside our accounts team, supporting the financial operations of the business.
Richard Roche
Contracts Manager
Richard first joined BHA in 2013 as Contracts Manager, with a strong background in the role of project management. Richard is very dedicated to his work, extremely hard working, competent and relishes all challenges within his remit.
Emmett Ryan
Contracts Manager
Emmett joined the ranks of BHA in March 2021 and has been a valuable asset since. Emmett is responsible for the Planning, Controlling, and Execution of the project. He contributes over 11 years of experience in delivering projects across a broad range of sectors including, Residential, Commercial, and Hospitality.
Meyre Lane Ferreira Pereira
BCAR Manager
Meyre joined BHA in 2023 as a Procurement Officer and has since progressed to the role of BCAR Manager. She holds a background in Chemical Engineering.
Jacques De Waal
Head of Construction
Jacques is Head of Construction at BHA, bringing over 33 years of experience in the building industry. His extensive background across both commercial and construction environments equips him with the expertise to lead teams and deliver projects that support the long-term growth of the business.
Shane Curran
Operations Director
Shane has been with BHA since January 2023, but has been an industry leader in interior fit-outs with over 20 years experience. His passion, wealth of knowledge, experience and innovative approach means that any expectations are sure to be exceeded.
Brian Smith
Health and Safety Director
Brian serves as Health & Safety Director at BHA, managing company-wide safety procedures and ensuring all policies, systems, and site practices are current and compliant with regulations.
Mark Keating
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
Mark joined BHA in December 2021 as a junior quantity surveyor and has been involved in an array of high-profile projects since then. His duties include cost reporting, subcontractor procurement, subcontractor accounts, assisting senior QS’ and reporting to management.
Lee Nolan
Junior Quantity Surveyor
Lee joined BHA in May of 2023 following the completion of his degree in quantity surveying in SETU. Lee is motivated, detail orientated and possess a strong understanding of construction methodologies. We are thrilled to have Lee on our team and help nurture his commitment to continuous learning and professional development as he progresses in, what we are sure, will be an illustrious career.
Alan Larkin
Senior Engineer
Alan Larking is a Senior Engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, including seven years within the utilities sector. He brings strong technical expertise across infrastructure, energy, and large-scale projects, with experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary schemes for both public and private clients.
Wayne Dunbar
Senior Project Manager
Wayne commenced his tenure at BHA in 2010, initially serving as a Site Manager and later advancing to the role of Project Manager in 2013. With a distinguished career at BHA, Wayne is esteemed for his dependability and exemplary organizational acumen, evident in consistently delivering sophisticated projects with precision and excellence.
Graziela Paula Marques Ramo
Junior Quantity Surveyor
Graziela is a Junior Quantity Surveyor who holds a qualification in Architecture and Urbanism, bringing experience in the construction sector through cost estimation, commercial proposals, and project support. She has worked across residential, commercial, and educational projects.
Lucy Daverne
Marketing Executive
Lucy joined BHA after completing her BA in Media and Public Relations. As Marketing Executive, she manages BHA’s digital marketing activities alongside internal and external communications.
Kevin Kenneally
Site Manager
Kevin is an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential, commercial, and interior projects. He manages construction activities from groundworks to final handover, delivering high-quality results across all stages of a project.
Gerhard Hoell
Managing Quantity Surveyor
Gerhard, a seasoned quantity surveyor esteemed for his expertise, joined the ranks of BHA in July 2023. His illustrious career in the construction industry commenced in South Africa back in 2007. Demonstrating proficiency through a diverse portfolio encompassing projects in both private and public sectors, he is poised to assume a leadership role as a distinguished member of any management team.
Sergio Gratival
Head Estimator
Sergio brings 15 years of experience in commercial roles across construction and real estate development. Qualified with both BSc and BEng degrees, he has strong expertise in cost management, financial analysis and project risk control. He has joined BHA to support our commercial function, working closely with project teams to ensure effective cost planning and delivery.
Tanyia Rochford
HR Manager
Tanyia brings extensive experience in Human Resources, having worked in a variety of HR roles across multiple organisations. CIPD qualified, she has a strong background in employee relations, performance management and HR strategy. She has joined BHA in a HR Manager role, where she will support both our people and the wider business to ensure strong alignment between strategy and culture.
Kaitlyn Broaders
Site Engineer
Kaitlyn holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture from University College Dublin. She has joined BHA as a Site Engineer, where she will be based on site supporting the delivery of our projects.
