The project also included 9 terraced homes developed for Clúid Housing, providing much-needed social housing and supporting the creation of an inclusive, sustainable community. Following the successful completion of Phase 1, Phases 2 and 3 will deliver an additional 52 homes, bringing the total Coneyboro development to 144 homes in Athy.

Ballyknockan Manor is a purpose-built social housing development delivered for Carlow County Council, comprising 37 high-quality A2-rated homes. The scheme includes a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom semi-detached houses, 25 terraced homes, and 2 bungalows, providing a range of accommodation options to meet local housing needs. Construction began in June 2023 on a previously derelict greenfield site, transforming an unfinished estate into a vibrant new residential community.

In addition to the new homes, the project incorporated a communal natural play area, new access roads, and a comprehensive Traffic Management Plan approved by the HSA to ensure the safety of existing residents throughout the works. Temporary protective fencing was also installed in accordance with planning requirements.

BHA was appointed as the main contractor by Hebron Ventures to deliver a high-quality residential development of 58 units on a greenfield site in Kilkenny City. The scheme includes a mix of 2- and 3-storey homes alongside 15 modern apartments across four floors. All units were constructed on strip foundations with rising block walls and a durable plaster finish, while Posi-joists and roof trusses were utilised to enhance construction efficiency. All homes achieved an A2 BER rating and were completed to the latest design standards, including landscaped open spaces and resident amenities. Delivered during a challenging period of Covid-related shutdowns and market price fluctuations, BHA successfully brought the project in on time and within budget.

Graigue na hAibhainne is a substantial residential development delivered by BHA, comprising 77 high-quality homes, the majority of which are 3-bedroom semi-detached units. The houses were constructed using traditional block and brickwork with insulated cavity walls, complemented by double-glazed PVC windows and durable nap plaster finishes. Timber roof trusses, Posi-joists, and air-to-water heat pumps contributed to an efficient and modern build, with all homes achieving a strong A2 BER rating.

Internally, each home features high-standard finishes including fitted kitchens, flush timber doors, quality joinery, skim-finished plasterboard walls, and tiling to designated areas. External works included concrete paths, landscaped gardens, fencing, site services, and planting of shrubs and trees, ensuring a complete and well-integrated development.

The 9-unit scheme not only met but surpassed green and environmental targets, achieving compliance with NZEB standards.

Construction of 9 units (Units A to J), comprising three-story terraced houses (Units A-C) and ground floor apartments and three-story duplex apartments (Units D-J). Units A-C featured 5-bedroom Rectory, 3-bedroom Curate’s house, and 4-bedroom townhouse with private gardens and parking. Units D-J included three-story duplex apartments and 1-bedroom ground floor apartments with various features such as shared gardens and terraces. Associated site development works, landscaping works, new perimeter walls, and railings to road frontages.
